Through the Canyon Doorway

We’re so excited to share our first Tone Ranger live performance film, which was created in Diablo Canyon, New Mexico. Working with a team of close collaborators, we had the chance to bring something to life that we’ve been dreaming of for a long time, seeking the right way to open the doorway into the Tone Ranger creation process. This film is the first in a series and we can’t wait to dive into the production of the second episode.

On our team was filmmaker Benjamin Henretig who is also a brilliant musician and community facilitator, Sahaih Escobedo (former Meow Wolf story team) who is now making a strong leap into directing, Ramsay De Give a New York Times photojournalist who recently moved back to New Mexico to focus on capturing his home state, VFX master Hernan Barros who is also the co-founder of political art collective ‘Food of War’ and Casa Animalia’s Gabriella Sonabend Simon. The film also included contributions by filmmaker Nicholas Tenney and animation by Little Big Bang.
